Saw the commercial a few days back and I didn't like it at all. It was freaky and I thought the concept was great but the content was hackneyed. Aamir is a good actor and pulled it off brilliantly. Overall a good acting but rubbish ad.

Lol: taller in the female avatar. Well I would have to see the advertisement again to check whether that the difference is really there. This apart, the advertisement does stand out for the quality with which Aamir has acted in it. The war of brands seems to have intensified with King Khan being the brand ambassador for ’Thora Dish Karo’ and Aamir vouching for its direct competitor with ’Tata Aur Sky Ek Saath’. While SRK would solely rely on his star power, Aamir would use his acting brilliance to make a mark.

Hey I saw it only now, on instablogs. It’s funny, very good acting by Amir Khan. Amir is comming out as a versatile actor just in these recent years. Earlier we liked him just for his good looks and some romantic actings. But now the real Amir emerges with some mature acting too. His performace in the Ad is brilliant. Thank God, I have TATA Sky.

Yes, Aamir is a brilliant actor but I have to say that the add looks absolute rubbish with Aamir making a fool of himself. And for all practically commercial reason it is just toooo long. Now you will start seeing it get cut short to phrases inbetween and it will look more ridiculous.

The ad is simply brilliant... the monologue played by dual characters portaged by a single man is simply astounding...
It just goes onto show the versatility of this brilliant actor who seems to have opted out of the rat race for the number one crown choosing to prove his worth through the quality of his work instead!!
P.S. is it just me or does he actually look taller in the female avatar??
